Don't Lose Heart; Communicate It

"We just want our voice to be heard."


This is a refrain that many of us feel each and every day. Whether we're connecting with our loved ones, our employer, employees, or the customer.


Should we be surprised? We've turned marketing into data sets, sales into quotas, and customers into revenue streams. The vision of the entrepreneur and the voice of the customer have been relegated to the annual report.


It's time that we truly;


Listen.


We need to right the ship. We need to get back to the "heart" of business. What drives us to produce? What is the real value we're trying to deliver? Are we making a meaningful connection with those around us?

The good news is that I believe a marketing renaissance is on the horizon. Voices are becoming more authentic. There is less spin and more transparency.


Businesses, employees, and customers are looking for this kind of connection.
